Has SPINX actually been lab tested?
Yes. The patented nanotechnology in SPINX — the same material we're licensed to use — was independently tested by SGS, one of the largest testing and certification labs in the world. The results are summarized above, with each test method named.
Does it contain PFAS or "forever chemicals"?
No. SPINX is a water-based formula with no PFAS, no phthalates, and no added fragrance. Independent testing returned not-detected results for heavy metals and formaldehyde.
Is it safe to use indoors and in my bag?
Yes. At a tested 8 g/L, VOC content is a fraction of the 100 g/L regulatory limit, so very little off-gasses as it dries. It's water- and heat-resistant once cured, so it travels in a closed bag without an issue.
Will it damage my carbon fiber paddle?
No. Unlike erasers and solvents, SPINX is non-abrasive and engineered for composite paddle faces. It cleans and protects the surface rather than wearing it down.
