The short version

02What information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Order information: name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone (optional), and the items you ordered.
- Payment information: processed by Shopify Payments. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers — only the last 4 digits and card brand for your reference.
- Email signup: if you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your email address and the date you signed up.
- Customer support: if you email us, we keep a record of the conversation to help with follow-up.
Information collected automatically
- Site usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time on site, referring URL. Standard analytics data via Shopify's built-in analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Cookies section below.
03How we collect it
We collect information when you visit spinxpro.com, place an order, sign up for our email list, fill out a contact form, or email us directly. We do not collect information about you from third-party data brokers.
04How we use your information
- Fulfill your order: ship products, send order confirmations and tracking, process refunds.
- Customer support: reply to your questions, help with returns, troubleshoot issues.
- Marketing email (only if you opt in): product updates, paddle care tips, occasional promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Improve our site and product: understand which pages convert, where users drop off, what content is helpful.
- Fraud prevention: verify orders, prevent payment fraud, comply with legal obligations.
05Who we share it with
We share your information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only the minimum information they need to do their job:
| Service provider | What they do | What we share |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Storefront, checkout, payments | Order details, payment info, contact info |
| Shopify Email | Email marketing & transactional emails | Email address, name, order history |
| USPS / UPS | Order shipping | Name, shipping address, phone (optional) |
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers. The only exceptions are if we're legally required to (subpoena, court order, fraud investigation) or in the unlikely event of a business transfer (sale, merger), in which case we'd notify you in advance.
06Cookies & tracking
We use cookies for three purposes:
- Essential cookies: required for the site to work — cart contents, login state, checkout flow. Cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site (Shopify's built-in analytics). You can opt out via your browser settings.
- Marketing pixels (when applicable): if we run paid ad campaigns on Meta, Google, or other platforms in the future, those platforms may set conversion-tracking cookies. We will update this policy before activating those tools. You can opt out via the platforms' own ad preferences when they apply.
Most browsers let you control or block cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent checkout from working.
07Your rights & choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: ask us what information we have about you.
- Correct: ask us to fix incorrect or outdated information.
- Delete: ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements for tax and order records).
- Unsubscribe from marketing: click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Data portability: request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@spinxpro.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We'll respond within 30 days.
08California (CCPA) rights
If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you additional rights:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we've collected, sold, or shared in the past 12 months.
- Right to delete your personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale of your personal information — not applicable here, because we don't sell personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise CCPA rights, email hello@spinxpro.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before processing.
09Children's privacy
SPINX is a paddle care product intended for adult use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we discover we've collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email if you're on our mailing list. Continued use of the site after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
